Hi,
I am a cebuana/zamboangena (families of mayol, yray and dacules and an alumni of USC-GHS class ‘91)) based in dubai with a big heart for farming since my family is into it. I am quite interested with organic farming and is looking into it as my next career in 5 years time.
I want to be a general member and in truth it is quite an honor to belong to a league of organic farmers.

First of all, thanks for dropping by at our website.
We are pleased to know that despite your being so far away working for your family you still have sincere interest in joining our organization which is based here in cebu City, Philippines.
Yes, our organization will accept applicants who are advocates or even avid supporters of organic farming system, if not actively involved in farming. Your desire to become a general member in the association is very much welcome. In fact, we actively encourage people with similar interest to join in our association.
With this regard, please wait for some time as I’d raise this issue during our regular monthly meeting come July 12.
Please be aware also that we have membership fee of P50.00 and it’s lifetime or until you depart from the association. There’s also a monthly due of P20.00 OR P240.00 per year. Although there’s a pending proposal waiting for approval in the Board to increase the monthly due to P40.00 or P50.00 starting this year. For the meantime, P20.00 still in effect until the proposal is approved.
I’ll get back to you soon after we discuss among us your intention to become a general member.

Regarding ur inquiry about ur desire to learn organic farming, yes I can teach u how but its unfortunate that we r too far apart from each other. If ud like to learn this system, it wud be better if ur not preoccupied with something else other than on-hand farming.

its nice to hear from u so young to be so concern about the health benefits organic farming provides to both man and his environment.
ur desire to work with us may be a great opportunity for us to work with younger generation like u and share our knowledge n wisdom about organic farming. however, we dont run our organisation as a profit entity nor we hold a regular office. we r an informal organisation and we only meet during our meetings every now and then. although working with u is a welcome treat to us, we regret to tell u that thats not possible at this time.
but if u want to see us when u come over to cebu wed be glad to welcome u here during our monthly regular meeting every second saturday of the month.
