The soft-spoken tennis buff is ever reliable. Just like a battery, he’s ever ready.
In behalf of the Association, I’d like to thank Mar Carloman for his indefatigable effort to help the Association afloat, so to speak. He’s our very competent Treasurer and he definitely has what it takes to be an effective leader and an able member as well.
His latest accomplishment was the securement of TIN for COFGA. For that effort, he deserves an ear-shattering applause when we get to meet in our next meeting to show him our sincere gratitude.
Actually, I felt a bit guilty when I reacted unfavorably at that time when he pointed at me to do the job. I thought it wasn’t my job but I hope you guys didn’t get me wrong on my reaction. It’s not that I don’t like to do it. I merely wanted to clarify if I was the right person to do it or who should do it.
Anyways, Mar Carloman offered to do it himself and I was happy for everyone in the group. Mar, as he’s fondly called, is a nice high-spirited person who is very active in his duty as an officer. That’s one thing why I think highly of him. His no-nonsense attitude in dealing things that matter to the Association is admirable.
