Thanks for your presence in our meeting last night at Mr. Carloman’s residence. I’d like to personally thank Mar for his hospitality for allowing us to hold our meeting in his ‘hut’. The humility that Mr. Carloman showed us was an understatement calling his palatial ‘white house’ a hut. And the ensaymada actually appeased my churning stomach as our meeting dragged on past 10:00 p.m. I wonder if Mar actually noticed me that I was starving. Yes, I had my fill an hour before I left home for the meeting and I usually eat after every four to five hours.
Nevertheless, it was a fruitful meeting and all important matters on the agenda were discussed. I was just a bit surprised by Mr. Ben’s impromptu deliberation of the proposed by-laws. That actually kept the meeting dragged on for over two hours. I can’t blame Mr. Ben. Kudos to you, Mr. Ben for the job well done.
The meeting was adjourned a few minutes to 11:00 p.m. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, April 14, 2007 back at the DA coumpound along M. Velez St. in Cebu City.
